2018 Mercury 9.9 Hp 9.9ELHPT-CT-PK Outboard Motor
The Mercury 9.9 HP Outboard motor with Command Thrust delivers the power, thrust, and control that wider, heavier boats need. A 20 % larger prop increases control and a taller gear case puts the prop deeper below turbulent water for improved performance. A low 2.42:1 gear ratio and high thrust propeller make the 103 lb. Mercury 9.9 outboard engine an excellent choice for sailboat and trolling/kicker applications. The Command Thrust over-sized, anti-ventilation plate prevents air from being drawn into the propeller, further enhancing efficiency and performance. The 9.9 HP Mercury Outboard Motor model: 9.9ELHPT-CT-PK is equipped with a 20 inch long shaft and electric start, auto ratchet tilt and trim, and Mercury’s multi-function tiller handle which allows one-handed operation of F-N-R gear shifting, throttle, and throttle tension, steering, and stopping. Mercury provides a base 3 year warranty.
