The 15 HP mercury Outboard Pro Kicker model: 15EXLHPT-PK-CT comes equipped with a 25 inch shaft electric start and Mercury Outboard’s Command Thrust: a 20 % larger prop increases control and a taller gearcase puts the prop deeper below turbulent water for improved performance. A low 2.42:1 gear ratio and high thrust propeller making the Mercury 15 hp outboard engine an excellent choice for sailboat and trolling/kicker applications. The Pro-Kicker’s large 21.4 cubic inch displacement powerhead develops plenty of low-end torque, and a four-blade low pitch propeller is perfect for trolling. Mercury outboard engines surpass industry standards are legendary for being reliable and come with a 3 year factory warranty.
